Abstract:

Nowadays, there is an increasing demand for energy saving techniques in residential, industrial, institutional, clinical and other multipurpose indoor and outdoor applications. This project is an attempt to implement a small system to save the energy used in lighting and reduce wasted energy by trying to control the lighting for the design of a miniature house by turning off the lighting of the empty places of people, as well as by controlling the intensity of lighting during the hours of the day (in the case of sunlight availability and during the absence of sunlight). Hence, the authors propose a universal lighting control device—named Automatic Light Control and Human Count Device—accomplished mainly using Arduino UNO R3. In this present paper, a speculative analysis has been done to study the psychology behind sensors.
