Abstract:
The most common material used in construction is concrete. Concrete is a composite material made of fine and coarse aggregate held together by a flowable cement paste. In order investigate the characteristics of bamboo fiber reinforced concrete; a brief experiment is carried out in this work employing 1% bamboo fibers while keeping a consistent. An amount of dolomite powder to replace some part of the cement, at varying percentages of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%,. to evaluate the concrete’s split tensile and compressive strengths after 28, 56 and 90 days.
