Abstract: The evaluation of fruit tree-based agroforestry in community-based forest management sites of Misamis Oriental aimed to address several key objectives: profiling fruit tree-based agroforestry enterprises, identifying agroforestry management methods practiced by CBFM PO members, determining marketing practices, assessing fruit production profitability, and identifying challenges affecting profitability. A total of 41 farmers engaged in fruit tree-based agroforestry were interviewed using purposive sampling. The survey revealed a socio-demographic profile of farmers, with an average age of 46 years, predominantly male, and mostly with an elementary level of education. Chemical pest control was the preferred method among respondents for pest management. Most farmers sold their produce to regular traders or middlemen, indicating a reliance on intermediaries for marketing. The lowest average return on expenses was observed for rambutan, indicating profitability challenges. Adverse weather conditions and unstable product prices were frequently cited as major obstacles to marketing produce.
