Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technology in pharmaceutical science, revolutionizing various aspects of drug discovery, development, manufacturing, and healthcare delivery. This review highlights the current applications, advancements, and future potential of AI in the pharmaceutical sector. AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks enable the efficient analysis of large and complex datasets, thereby accelerating drug discovery, target identification, and optimization of lead compounds. In pharmaceutical manufacturing, AI enhances process efficiency, quality control, and predictive maintenance through advanced automation and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, AI plays a crucial role in clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, personalized medicine, and drug delivery systems, including the development of novel nanocarriers.
