He is a Certified full member with the Institute of Information Technology Professional South Africa (IITPSA) and a Professional member of Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK and a member of IEEE, and a professional registered Engineer. He is a recipient of AfiNIC 15 Fellowship Award. His PhD research focus was Smart Grid Communication in the discipline of Electrical /Electronic and Computer Engineering at University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. Dr. Ogbodo E. U. is an independent researcher and academic staff member in the department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka; he is also a postdoctoral research fellow at Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa. He conducts research on Cognitive Radio Sensor Networks and LPWAN Technologies: the new Paradigm for IoT, Smart Cities, and Smart Grids; Renewable Energy; Wireless Communication; Optic Fibre Communication; Internet Technologies; Mobile Computing; Satellite/Spacecraft & Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV); Data Analytics and Cybersecurity. |
